The Ranger Classic is a special one—it’s just as tall as the Ranger XY (11.5 inches) but taller proportionately given missing top of head.  Has the same level of articulation and smooth movement you’ve come to expect from the Rangers. What makes this model unique is its flat head with a built-in magnet, making headstands not only possible but incredibly easy to pull off.

I designed the Ranger Classic with versatility in mind. It’s stable, flexible, and packed with functionality, making it a favorite for artists, photographers, and animators who want to push the limits of dynamic posing. Plus, it proudly features the iconic A9RIG logo on the torso—a little nod to where it all began.

Like all Rangers, the Classic is crafted to represent the skeletal human form with natural proportions. Whether you’re sketching characters, sculpting detailed anatomy, or building puppets with layered skin or fabric, this model is here to help bring your ideas to life.

WHAT IS ARMATURE NINE?

Armature Nine (or A9-RIG) is a revolutionary collection of articulated products. They were first designed and released in 2012 and have been awarded multiple patents.
