Just got done making a supplemental video tutorial that I'm going to send to all those that got the 2015.2 version of A9 with the problematic pelvis. At the end of the video the armature ended up in this pose so I took a photo.
The pelvis on the left is my first prototype attempting to fix the problem. You can't tell but the sockets have the shape of a gear creating a prettyeffective stepped rotation. The design shows promise. If I get it working properly it would mean we could get rid of the stops inside the clips completely and return the full range of motion the clips used to have while still solving the problem of them swinging out of control producing the stability problems people were struggling with.
